AI-Ready Compute
Designed for AI workloads from day one.
Seven things that separate AfWS from basic hosting; each one verifiable, none of them marketing.

Designed for AI workloads from day one.
Compute in Lagos, closer to users, commercial options in naira.
Data hosted in-country for organisations with sovereignty and residency requirements.
Tier III-targeted power, cooling and connectivity architecture.
Purpose-built infrastructure designed to deliver competitive compute economics.
Open-source architecture RISC-V compute, designed to reduce dependence on proprietary technology stacks and on infrastructure located outside Africa.
Capacity that grows with demand, on a design made to be replicated across markets.
Africa cannot outsource its AI future. We must own the infrastructure that powers it. AfWS is building the rails for Africa’s AI economy.
Sector-specific isolation and compliance, not a generic virtual machine. Every configuration ships with AI inference built in as standard.
The CBN's June 2026 circular introduces local data-management requirements for regulated payment-system participants from 1 January 2027. For banks, fintechs and payment companies, infrastructure location is now a compliance consideration. AfWS keeps payment transaction data in Lagos, on dedicated hardware.
Sovereign alternative to foreign cloud for federal agency inference workloads, with transparent local-currency pricing and Nigerian-jurisdiction data.
Dedicated chassis isolation for medical imaging and telemedicine, with sub-8ms round-trip for Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.
Data warehousing, batch processing, and ML pipelines with the regional latency advantage of on-continent hosting. AI inference at every tier, standard.
Hardware-boundary isolation for classified and sensitive workloads. No hypervisor, no shared tenancy, no offshore routing. Auditable down to the chassis.
Node-level pricing that scales with the business, without the cloud bill shock that hits fast-growing African startups on hyperscaler pricing. Start with a single node; expand to a full rack without changing providers.
Infrastructure designed around African climate, grid conditions, and regulatory reality, not retrofitted from a Northern Virginia blueprint.
AfWS runs on GO-CN48-32-2T, a high-density RISC-V compute architecture designed for AI inference and cloud. It is an open architecture that reduces dependence on proprietary technology stacks.

Closed-loop glycol cooling that consumes no water in the cooling cycle. It holds PUE at 1.077–1.080 under full load against a global industry average of 1.58.

Western data centres increasingly compete with homes and businesses for scarce grid capacity. AfWS runs the other way round. Standby generators never run in parallel with the grid and are never the primary power source. Power comes from the SECA Power Grid, with on-site generation reserved strictly for resilience. The demand-response framework lets the facility shed load during grid stress, so AfWS supports grid stability instead of straining it. This is delivered through PairFlex, our flexibility marketplace, with IndexFlex providing independent, auditable transaction records.
Power, cooling, connectivity, redundancy, physical security, and environmental monitoring. Each specified to a number a principal engineer can hold us to.
SECA Power Grid as primary source. Standby generation reserved strictly for resilience, never in parallel, never primary.
Closed-loop glycol, zero water at any load. PUE held at 1.077–1.080 against a 1.58 global average.
Redundant subsea and terrestrial routes. Sub-8ms on-continent latency, so workloads and data stay home.
Tier III-targeted power, cooling and connectivity architecture, concurrently maintainable, with no single point of failure across power and cooling paths.
Tier-III physical security with biometric access control. The hardware boundary is the security boundary.
Continuous boundary telemetry. Verified 41.8 dB(A) maximum, under the LASEPA 45 dB(A) limit.
Victoria Island, Lagos. DC-1 under construction, targeting December 2026, ahead of the CBN deadline.

Led by Nigerian engineers
Africa's digital economy needs its own foundation. AfWS is ready to build it, with the Federal Government as partner, not patron.
Every major digital economy was built on infrastructure its government chose to protect. Africa's moment is now, and Nigeria can lead it.
Bare-metal physical isolation is not a luxury feature. For regulated financial data, it is the only architecture that satisfies the trust threshold.
High-performance dedicated hardware tailored for Africa’s critical workloads: fintech, government, healthcare, and AI at continental scale.
Dedicated physical servers with your choice of configuration: storage, CPU density, and networking tuned to your workload. No shared tenancy. No hypervisor. Your hardware, your rules.
Starting from ₦450,000/month
AfWS Standard delivers dedicated performance and full server control at a predictable local-currency price, eliminating FX risk for Nigerian enterprises.
GPU inference built into every node as standard, not a premium tier, not an optional add-on. Sovereign AI compute, built in Lagos and designed to scale across Africa, running on GO-CN48-32-2T, a high-density RISC-V architecture.
Starting from ₦1,200,000/month
AfWS AI-Native is built for enterprises, fintechs, and government agencies running large language models, real-time inference, and data pipelines at scale.
Full rack and multi-rack configurations for regulated financial institutions, federal agencies, and large enterprise tenants. Private cloud capability with the compliance posture that Western hyperscalers cannot legally offer in Nigeria.

For workloads where the data never moves and the audit trail never leaves the country. DC-1 is targeting operational readiness in December 2026, ahead of the CBN deadline of 1 January 2027.
